| McCamey County Hospital District opened it's new Wellness Center July, 2010. Adult area residents are invited to join in on all the fun going on at the center! It has a "river walk" indoor track, featuring the Eddie J. Odom Memorial Gallery Collection: "Rio Grande. Bravo! People can walk their way to fitness, as they pass by the beautiful photographs of the Rio Grande. While walking around other areas of the center, they can imagine the benefits to be gained by using the heated pool, a "state-of-the-art" fitness center, a multi-purpose room where all types of classes are given and a physical therapy department.
